Senior Accountant

Take responsibility for all accounting and financial administration for 2 main companies, both of which operate in the technology space. Reporting into the Head of Finance and the CEOs of the 2 companies, with lots of space for career progression.

Role:
Take responsibility for all accounting and financial administration for 2 main companies
Monthly management reporting – including group reporting, management account preparation, monthly reconciliations and accounting.
Payroll administration
Debtors & Creditors administration
Payments administration

Requirements:
Relevant Finance Degree/Diploma
4 years accounting experience
Comprehensive understanding financial process, daily finance tasks, reconciliations and accounting entries
Drafting annual financial statements and preparing for the annual audit
Payroll administration
Must have experience in processing transactions from origin to book, and thus a good understanding of generally accepted accounting practice and IFRS
Experience managing to people (essential)
CIPC filing experience with annual returns

Location: CBD, Cape Town
Remuneration: R22 – R25K per month
