Job Description:

Deferred Revenue & project accounting
Accounting for Foreign Exchange
Annual financial statements preparation
Vat : Monthly VAT reconciliation & submission of return
Income tax : Provisional and annual tax computation, submit returns
Deferred tax computation
Transfer pricing compliance/accuracy
Employee tax (Bi annual recon, adhoc queries & support)
All Taxes
Propose / Investigate and assist with system improvements (when shortcomings identify / to make team/process/systems more efficient and assist staff
Engagement with MIS, FM, CFO
Responsible for accuracy of accounting records
Management Accounts and Analytics
Approvals/authorisations/passing entries / problem solving
Assistance to CFO & FM
Annual audit, manage preparation and answering of queries

Qualifications:

Relevant Financial Management / Accounting Degree plus completed SAICA Articles
Registered with The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants
Min 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role
National Diploma in Tax
Proficient in SAGE X3 ERP system
Technically current on taxes & technical accounting
Good ERP knowledge & experience
