Are you a hands-on, driven by pressure and very detailed orientated CA(SA)? You will have the opportunity to work closely with other Senior Accounts and receive strong support. You will have a chance to work within various areas in a larger, but successful retail group that will allow for exposure to complex transactions. The successful incumbent will at times be required to perform the entire accounting function and must have been in a senior position before.

CA(SA), non-negotiable



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years commercial experience

Retail experience, advantage

Exposure to Pastel Partner, required



Job Description:

Actively produce the monthly management accounts.

Ensure the completion of monthly VAT reconciliation and submissions.

Work closely with the other Senior Accountants.

Focus the preparation of quarterly packs.

Ensure the monitoring of cash flow forecasts, expenses and cost controls.

Hands on management of external audits and accurate preparation of annual financial statements.

Ensure to provide assistance with the budget preparation.

Take ownership over the system of internal controls.

Actively review the monthly payroll calculations and processing.

Ensure tax calculations and tax returns are reviewed.

Provide training to the finance staff.

Take part in the key strategic decision-making process of the business.
