Senior Accountant – Centurion
A manufacturing company based in Centurion is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to start immediately/ASAP
Salary: Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience

Requirements:
Matric
Bilingual (Afrikaans & English, read, write, speak)
Driver’s License and own transport required
Experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage
Extensive experience on Pastel Evolution
Relevant Qualifications (not necessarily a CA) – B.Com Degree
4 years – 5 years’ experience in a Senior Accountant role

Responsibilities:
Balance inter-company and business partners accounts
Check and sign off creditors payments
Print and analyse bank statements and notify Motor Glass department of deposits received
Corresponding with bank, including the ordering of deposit books
Corresponding with bank in regards to petrol / debit cards
Checking of cash sales invoices
Bookkeeping to balance sheet for three companies
Control bank statements
Process bank statements and do monthly bank recons on pastel
Posting bank entries into Cash Book
Creditors + Debtors
Reconcile Inter-Company Loan accounts
Weekly recons
Prepare month end reports
Preparing and processing year end journal entries
General ledger
Petty cash
Payroll – weekly wages + monthly salaries
Garnish orders
