Salary Accounts Manager
Cape Town – Northern Suburbs

Our client, a leading retailer, requires the service of a Salary Accounts Manager to fulfil the managerial function of the salary accounts department.

Key performance areas:

? Departmental Payments (PAYE and all salary related funds), GL reconciliations and Administration
? Invoicing subsidiaries
? Annual, monthly weekly and daily work planning, priority setting and scheduling
? Performance monitoring and reporting
? Facilitate and implementation of new systems and procedures
? Departmental performance – salary reconciliations and debtors
? Process improvement, process policies, procedures and performance standards
? Manage cross-functional interfaces / relationships e.g. with HR Payroll, external parties, etc.
? Management of 17 staff members

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a B.Compt Honours with completed CA articles
? Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Accounting Environment of with 2 years is in a managerial capacity
? Experience in reconciliations of accounts on SAP and payroll related payments to third parties would be an advantage
? Knowledge of payroll accounting entries
? Knowledge of SAP FI and HR
? Computer literate - Excel (SAP would be advantageous)
? Must have excellent numerical skills
? Must have excellent computer skills (English & Afrikaans)
? Must be analytical and detail orientated
