1. Introduction
The main purpose of the role is to support business by conducting, compiling and presenting quality credit analysis, applications and reviews, whilst monitoring a portfolio of clients and presenting bankable solutions for transactions and trades to the appropriate authority level which may include the various credit committees.

2. Key responsibilities:
2.1. Stakeholder Management
• Build strong relationships with both global and local internal and external stakeholders
• Effectively communicate developments within areas of activity to all relevant stakeholders

2.2. Support Human Capital Agenda
• Play a supporting/ mentorship role for Assistant Vice Presidents and other Vice Presidents
• Support the overall people agenda within the business unit to ensure that the human aspects to performance are considered and embedded in the business

2.3. Portfolio Management/Credit Risk
• With very little guidance and support from line management, the member should be able to:
• Conduct quality credit assessments and present bankable solutions in various industries
• Pro-actively manage credit risks associated with the portfolio of clients
• Have a general or advanced understanding of Primary Market loan products, together with a good understanding of derivative products
• Have a good understanding of legal documents relating to traded product.
• Prepare credit applications and annual reviews through analysis and interpretation of financial statements and economics/ political data
• Produce relevant management information and manage exposures including the maintenance of the relevant systems
