Our client, a leading Telecoms Company is currently recruiting for a seasoned Android Developer to join their highly skilled team of like-minded professionals. The successful incumbent will be required to lead the delivery of industry leading, Android Software Solutions to meet customers' expectations.

You will need to meet the following requirements in order to be considered for this role:

• 3 – 5 years software development experience with min 2 years in Android Development
• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Computer Science
• Experience with MS Windows Mobile or iOS development with STRONG knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android with extensive experience in dealing with various screen sizes
• Experience with REST and JSON web services
• Strong understanding of code versioning tools i.e. – SVN, Git
• Java programming experience essential
• Extensive knowledge of OO structures and consistently advocate for good structured development practices
• Parallel development and multi-threaded development experience would be an added advantage
• SOA and 3-tier development experience highly beneficial
• Continuous integration experience essential
