2. Scope of work/supply
Development of ARIS 9 Scripts, Reports, Queries, Utilities and Macros to automate; speed up deliver; and reporting of the architecture repository deliverables and/or information.
ARIS 9 environment configuration and management:
• Architect & Designer
• UML Designer
• Business Publisher & IT Inventory
• MashZone

ARIS focus:
• Setting up, installing, upgrading and configuring the latest ARIS products/modules/tools/environments
• Provide knowledge sharing and skills transfer on ARIS tools/modules/environments/products
• ARIS Business Publisher configuration and publishing of ARIS repository content
• ARIS IT Inventory installation, setup and configuration
• ARIS Architect/Designer configuration
• ARIS Conventions and Method configuration
• Creating and updating ARIS MashZone dashboards and data feeds
• ARIS Repository Management, such as advising on and developing ARIS repository management standards and procedures
• Organise and re-arrange repository content
• Administration of ARIS reports and scripts
• Conceptualising and developing the required ARIS scripts, macros and queries
• Provide input into developing specifications for ARIS scripts, macros and queries
• Develop, update, test and improve the necessary ARIS scripts, macros and queries
• Developing quality assurance scripts and methods to ensure the architecture is modelled according to the appropriate Eskom methodology
• Assist in scoping, defining and creating requirements, including user requirements, for scripts, macros and queries
• Conducting post implementation evaluation against set criteria, identifying problem areas and recommending corrective actions

Methodology focus:
• Advising on and facilitating the implementation of the method and modelling standards
• Identifying gaps and improvements areas
• Recommend best practices
• Identify key content that can be included in the Meta-model to benefit projects and the business
• Advise on the design of the Meta-model to make architecture practical and business results oriented
• Develop the meta-model documentation, e.g. posters, to influence the business w.r.t. methods used
• Translate business requirements into a workable, integrated, sustainable EA Methodology solutions
• Embrace and build on the GroupsBPM and Process framework
• Assist with aligning the Meta model to support Group's strategies
• Provide specialist consulting and direction on methods and tools
• Provide advisory and consulting services on enterprise architecture artefacts
• Identify existing model content of potential value to business and/or projects

Requirement
Qualifications:
• Matric and relevant bachelor’s degree / IT diplomas / IT Certifications and four years of related IT experience
ARIS Scripter:
• 3+ years of experience with ARIS 9 products (ARIS Architect, Business Publisher, IT Inventory, and MashZone)
• 3+ years of experience with ARIS 9 scripting, macros & queries
• Solid knowledge of Java and ECMA Javascript languages
• Advanced knowledge of the latest ARIS products / modules / tools / environments
General Knowledge and Skills:
• Minimum 8 years’ experience working with various IT teams
• Minimum 8 years’ experience working within IT projects
• Knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture
• Analysis skills and strong attention to detail
• Able to teach and impart their knowledge to others
• Shows initiative and commitment to producing quality outputs in the agreed timelines
