International consulting engineering firm with branch offices in Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town and several regional offices across Africa urgently requires a Regional Manager designate. Titled "Key Account Manager", the position is senior and the person will manage multiple site clients in and outside South Africa.
This person will be groomed to replace the current Regional Manager so they need to have the drive and ability to manage a region, clients, people etc. and be strategic in their thinking.
B.degree (or similar) in Engineering and must have strong heavy industry experience and top World Class/best practice and networking experience.
This is a consulting role where the person will be required to consult to clients of the company on asset care, continuous improvement, WCM, TPM, Lean Six Sigma and allied disciplines as well as manage the Consultants in the branch with their clients.
Heavy industry or mining background is required to service the current and potential clients of this region.
A strategic thinker with a strong network is required to grow the branch and region.
Income package will be dependent on what is brought to the table and earning potential is very good.
The person will be required to travel to client sites in and around GP as well as in Africa.
