Job Description:

The Cape Town offices of an expanding international brokerage company is looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join the team. You will work closely with developers and other stakeholders throughout the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. You should have a strong understanding of SDLC processes and the Quality Assurance lifecycle and methodology.

Qualification:

• University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Web/E-commerce, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or other related degree.
• ISTQB – Foundation level Certified

Skills & Experience:


5-6 years’ relevant work experience in development and/or testing role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good experience using development/scripting languages like Powershell, Javascript, C#, VB, ASP .NET, SQL and formats like JSON and XML.
Proficient database skills in MS SQL Server
Good understanding of object oriented programming .NET, C#
Knowledge of automated testing tools
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously

Salary R55 000 CTC
