Responsibilities:

• Develop the long term digital strategy of the agency, including development of internal CMS and code library
• Deliver back end functionality and frameworks of varying complexity alongside experienced UX Directors, front end designers and developers
• Deliver outstanding digital user experiences on desktop, mobile and emerging platforms
• Debug existing code projects and improve upon them where possible and/or needed
• Develop new database driven PHP applications from start to finish
• Simplify data flow within applications

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ web development experience; 2 years in a senior role
• Proven experience in PHP, MySQL, GIT, CVS or SVN
• Experience in web database admin tools such as PHPMyAdmin
• Experience in web hosting environments and related technologies
• Experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle
• Excellent knowledge of methodologies such as SCRUM, Agile development, Waterfall model, and other work-flow patterns and methodologies
• Excellent knowledge of different MAMP, WAMP and LAMP stacks
• Experience in OOP development principles
• Experience in web hosting environments and related technologies

• Good understanding of JSON, XML and/or SOAP/REST
• Wordpress, Drupal / other CMS experience
• Apache2 server configuration
• Linux experience
• JavaScript MVC frameworks such as , Angular
• HTML5, CSS 3 and other front-end technologies
• Experience in ASP.Net and ASP Classic, DNN and SharePoint
• CodeIgniter, Laravel and/or othe Experience in integrating 3rd party systems such as Pastel or web services r PHP MVC frameworks experience
