About the Role:

The analysis, design and advocacy for a regulatory tax reporting capability for a large-scale insurance business.
Role requirement:
Analysis and modelling of:

•reporting data using Regulatory specifications
•reporting data, metadata, data sources and transformations within the existing reporting systems
•master data, creation, updates, retention and deletion
•all Regulatory and third party data integration

Design:
•of the future regulatory reporting data model
•alignment to information and data reference models
•alignment to enterprise data strategy, initiatives and architectures
•of data assurance and quality requirements(governance)
•of data ownership, security, access, privacy and retention
•of dashboards, reports and analytics
•of requirements for agile development sprints

Advocacy:
•in the development of a Regulatory data strategic roadmap
•by providing technical expertise on data integration, analytics, storage, mining, and cleansing
•by assessing new technology/software and assisting with strategic decision making
•by supporting impacts assessment of upcoming Regulatory changes
•by evaluating environmental changes, system migrations and updates to source systems
•by conducting data awareness, education and training
•by supporting and guiding project planning, feasibility, delivery and testing

Areas of performance:
•Completeness of the regulatory tax data model(conceptual, logical and physical)
•Alignment to data references architectures(internal/external)
•Value of data expertise shared to guide strategic decisions
