Job Summary: We’re looking for an organised and driven Client Accountant to join our growing team at our company. The Client Accountant position will work closely with our team and clients and handle day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations. We’re an energetic company and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organisation to make sure all the financial needs of our clients are met and that bookkeeping to trial balance accounting is done perfectly.

Responsibilities and Duties
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary to management
Do the monthly salary journals and reconcile the salary account on a monthly basis and follow up on all differences?
Performing a VAT Report and VAT reconciliation to be approved and submitted to management and the client
Perform supplier reconciliations and liaise with suppliers if there are any queries
Support for various queries not only restricted to bookkeeping for the company i.e. client related
Reconcile and follow up of all balance sheet accounts and be able to provide feedback on queries from management
Finance leases
Directors loan accounts
Debtors
Creditors
Prepare and maintain a fixed asset register and post monthly depreciation journals
Prepare monthly and annual financial reports to give to management
Analyse and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis
Be proactive about the bookkeeping and accounting process and as for relevant documents to ensure everything is done, processed and reconciled on time

Qualifications and Skills
3+ years bookkeeping experience
Formal qualification will be beneficial
Expertise with Xero and Sage will be a great but any experience on an online accounting program is required
Experience in running a payroll program
Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software
Excellent organisational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
