A leading Global BPO business is seeking to employ a Senior Team Leader to drive the overall performance and manage a team of 15 people supporting a UK client in the Service and Claims functions within the short terms insurance sector. Duties:
• Inspires, leads, engages, coaches, develops and motivates a team of dynamic & successful customer-facing agents to deliver the best sales & service in the client’s industry
• Leads by example with a situational and adaptive management style
• Drives the achievement of key performance areas and SLA to ensure best of breed performance
• Implements corporate or departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with management
• Provides employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes
• Sets performance targets in line with defined operational objectives and business outcomes, and tracks performance against these targets
• Identifies and develops talent and ensures talent potential is quickly maximized within their team
• Facilitates the sharing of best practice across teams to enable the delivery of high performance and the enhancement of the customer experiences
• Implements key change and improvement initiatives within the team
• Builds and maintains a high performing team which consistently delivers a ‘amazing’ customer experience in terms of care, knowledge and query resolution
• Conducts daily side by side coaching to ensure performance issues and concerns and managed quickly and efficiently
• Identifies key skills and strengths of team members and regularly provides positive praise and recognition of individual and team success

Requirements:
• The ability to communicate and build relationships with a diverse team
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Team Leader for an international voice process (essential)
• 5 years’ experience in BPO (essential)
• 1 year experience in Insurance Industry
• Experience in a rapidly growing operation (advantageous)
• Matric (Essential)
• Clear criminal record
• ITC Clear
• Numeracy skills (Essential)
