Job Title Senior Brand Manager

Summary
Company seeks to attract a passionate, self-driven individual to take on the challenge of Senior Brand Manager and drive our successful brands to new heights. This role will allow the successful candidate to fully utilise their core marketing competencies, category consumer insight, strategy, budget & planning.
This position will report directly to the Head of Marketing.

Duties & Responsibilities
? Understand category dynamics and identify ways to improve Brand performance in short, medium and long term
? Execution of short and long term brand strategies, taking into account strategic directive, market parameters and company resources
? Development and successful implementation of brand plans
? Leverage market information and analyse market trends (from multiple data sources) to review and amend plans on an ongoing basis to maximise business opportunities
? Manage brand portfolio performance in terms of volume, campaign execution and profit delivery (ROI)
? Execute innovative brand and business strategies which create value, and deliver sustainable profitable growth
? Management and implementation of promotional and tactical campaigns
? Prepare promotional, advertising, media and research briefs as well as R&D briefs
? Liaise with external suppliers (promotional, advertising agencies, digital partner and packaging suppliers)
? Manage all aspects of new product development through the stage gate process - from concept to final product and launch packages
? Plan, manage and control marketing support budget
? Monitor market conditions and competitor activities, including trade visits and interaction with sales team and customers
? Management of cross-functional relationships within project teams

Experience Required
? 5+ brand management experience sales experience a plus
? Experience in the Food industry an advantage
? Experience in the FMCG and/or Out Of Home industry an advantage
Minimum Qualifications
? A completed degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is required
Knowledge Required
? Strong focus on analytical skills (turning data into actionable insights)
? Clear understanding of consumer, trader and customer
? Project management expertise
? New Product Development expertise
? Numeracy understanding (market share, distribution & volumetrics)
? Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, with proven ability to work across all levels and with all functions of our business
