To effectively assist with the commercialisation of Efekto products, by developing and implementing commercial strategies and plans, managing brand and products marketing and communication. To drive value propositions to and within the market.

• Integrate and lead the Efekto’s Brand strategy, plans and objectives into an annual marketing plan which would include a 3 year new product development plan, global marketing activations and global marketing events
• Drive collaborations with markets for increased brand alignment and activations
• Work to align the brand globally through various research understandings, pricing strategies and new brand architecture.
• Lead new product development in line with business targets, driving innovation sessions and other forms of new product development to ensure a robust 3year new product development calendar to drive our position as leader in scientific Animal and Agricultural care through the various innovation models
• Drive sound new product development briefs through strong innovation funnel process management, including and setting Net targets, GP% expectation, product costings and design parameters for departments to execute
• Drive Innovation and new product development co-ordination amongst key team members with weekly meetings and project management software, setting deadline creation and communication and co-ordination
• Create and execute tools to launch New products in markets (including sell in tools, print adverts, cards, and videos)
• Set recommended global pricing and launch strategy for account manager to present
• Drive quarterly sales review meetings with key team members, with suggested next steps (including SKU sales and top sales)
• Keep operations up to date with potential promotional offers that would drive unusual volumes and could impact forecasting
• Submit updated forecasting figures to operations quarterly, after sitting with sales teams and account managers
• Marketing and sales budgets and forecasts
• Improve market share per brand
• Increase brand awareness
• Continual COG’s value analysis & suggested improvement to ensure benchmarked costs and required gross profit is achieved.
• Develop and execute consistent communication program that can be used globally across all mediums (ATL, BTL, instore, digital and press release content) by distributors
• Set guidelines and rules for all elements to ensure a consistent global brand message and communication
• With the account manager, assist markets with local activities by providing sales tools that could be implemented in their market
• Set social media KPI’s and planned calendar to measure against, briefed to P.R.O with monthly report updates and possible ways to improve communication and engagement socially
• Plan out, and monitor all marketing spend to ensure control and no over spend, updating finance on planned accruals
• Manage the recommended pricing on the Profit and loss understanding, ensuring that each launch fits into the brands, and offers do not cut too deep into total business margin profit
• International understanding of current and new markets
• Proactively create and present possible activations to markets for discussion and collaboration to drive sales out of their market
• Proactively recommend possible new launches of packed off offers for key periods (such as end of season etc.), to drive incremental sales
• Resolve conflicts and negotiations win-win solutions

• A bachelors’ degree in Marketing or similar degree in related field is essential
• Post graduate qualification in a similar field will be advantageous
• 5 years brand management experience in a similar industry
• Previous advertising, communication or media experience will be advantageous
• People management experience will be advantageous
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
