Senior Business Analyst / MIS – Sandton
We have an exciting position for a senior Business Analyst with 5 years experience with business requirements, functional specifications to create technical solutions in a MIS environment.
 
Duties 

• Follow a structured process to listen to, understand and document client requirements.
• Act as a consultant to the client on the application, guiding the client in order to determine the best solutions to meet the requirements.
• Translate the business vision into the design
• Testing the functionality of the technical solution
• Ensuring that the business requirements are delivered in the implemented solution
• Connect the business model to the systems architecture.
• Interfacing between the business client and the development team
• Lead a team of business analysts in a business area
• Stand-in for his Development Manager if necessary
• Identify and highlight opportunities for improvement.
• Perform analytical tasks, data extracts, run queries or any other form of analysis to gather information.

 
Qualifications and experience

• B. Comm Informatics, BSC Computer Science, IT Degree
• IT-related Honours or Masters Degree.
• Certifications would be beneficial: DAMA
