SENIOR BUYER - SAP MM (Purchasing) experience essential

Essential requirements:
1. Minimum 5 - 10 years purchasing experience of goods and services in a manufacturing industry.
2. SAP MM (Purchasing) experience – do not apply if you do not comply.

Location: Ga-Rankuwa, Pretoria North, Gauteng
Salary: R 20 000 - basic

Qualification:
Matric (Maths and Science highly desirable)
National Diploma in Purchasing Management or equivalent qualification.

Computer literate in Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010 (includes Excel & Word).
SAP MM (Purchasing) experience ESSENTIAL.
SAP PP (Materials Requirements Planning) highly desirable.
Supplier sourcing, negotiations and evaluations.
Establishing of supply contracts with suppliers (goods and services).
Purchase Order generation, placement and administration on SAP.
Basic level Purchasing Management reporting in SAP.
Purchase Order expediting.
Ad-hoc tasks related to purchasing.
General filing of purchasing documents as required.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be bilingual – 100% Afrikaans and English
Tenacious and astute negotiator.
Figure orientated
Self-motivated and ability to work without supervision.
