Skills & Qualifications & Experience

• Complete Degree/Diploma in supply chain management
• +10 years working experience in supply chain management / procurement
• Work Experience in Construction, plant hire and fabrication
• planning and organisational skills
• spoken and written communication skills
• problem-solving and be able to work in a pressurised environment
• good geographical knowledge of the Kwazulu Natal Region
• Buildsmart & Pastel Knowledge (will be an added advantage)
• Drivers licence •
Key Competency Requirements:

• To expedite requisitions received
• To ensure that requisition orders are acquired at the right time, with the best quality and at the right price at all times
• Source suppliers & items required for purchase
• Liason with requester, ensure drawings/ specifications are met.
• To advise lead times / negotiate with suppliers on time & price for orders placed.
• Attend project and planning meetings
