Successfully established Imports Company in the FMCG sector has a position available for a suitably experienced and dynamic Buyer to join their team.

Requirements:

3 Year Tertiary Qualification towards Procurement/Supply Chain Management or similar
At least 5 years’ experience of which 2 should have been in an independent buyers’ role within the FMCG sector
FMCG and multiple product/supplier buying experience would be advantageous
Systematic and methodical with strong administrative skills
Ability to perform under pressure and responsive to deal with crises
Solid level of knowledge around international product sourcing supply chain management, Supply projections, Service levels management, International shipping and FMCG markets

Sales Demand Assessments and Projections
Supply Chain Demand Assessments and Projections
Product Availability at Supply Chain Receiving End (Logistics Management)
Supplier Network and Relationships Effectiveness
Product Costs (negotiations and management)
Buying Administration Efficiencies
Buying Projects
