1. PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
The main purpose of this position is to be responsible for software development, which might include desktop as well as web services development. This includes new feature development as well as maintenance of the existing applications.
1.1 Develops moderately complex software in C#, Java, ASP.NET, or other selected languages for products and/or applications following coding standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes
1.2 Participate in product and/or application definition activities including feature analysis, impact and risks
1.3 Review product and/or application information including manuals and brochures for technical accuracy
1.4 Apply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing solutions in a timely fashion
1.5 Works collaboratively and professionally with other associates in cross functional teams to achieve goals
1.6 Apply Mission Statement and Quality Policy and enthusiastically exhibit a desire to see company succeed in every aspect of our delivery
1.7 Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems and/or defects
1.8 Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques

1.10 Creates and executes designs for new functionality as part of a software project when required
