Mandatory Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years’ Change Management and Communications experience within IT governance and implementation.
• Experience in core ITIL processes required, specifically relating to Change Management.
• Be willing to work on projects that could relate to:
o Liquor Licensing
o Jobseekers
o Gambling
o Lost Pets
o Etc.

Key Accountabilities
PROFESSIONAL FUNCTIONS
Applies a substantial body of professional knowledge in change management coupled with in depth experience to lead change management components on a number of major and strategic engagements, that affect processes or systems, changes in organisational structure or cultural changes across several Departments in the Organization to effect service delivery to clients, by
? Design and compile the change management approach, tactics and associated change plans for the overall project initiatives to support the adoption and realisation of the change.
? Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and ensure stakeholder influence across projects.
? Determine and manage Stakeholder expectations, engagements and influence from executive to administrative levels.
? Set and/or agree or influence the associate Programme & Project Change Management budget.
? Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) of own deliverables and where necessary, review and QA all Project Change Management deliverables.
? Translate strategic Portfolio changes and requirements into Change Management solutions to achieve the required outcome.
? Creatively and collaboratively solve Change Management challenges for complex multi-faceted issues.
? Setting up and coordinating training workshops in relations to the project schedule and deliverables.
? Creating of training materials and developing training schedule.
? Define and maintain a Forward Schedule of Change
? Align with project model and release management
? Define and create the training needs analysis.

COMMUNICATION
Communicating with fellow ICT professionals as well as internal and external clients to work on issues of common interest and/or to share information, by
? Manage the Change Management governance framework including Technical Review Board Change Readiness Board and Post Change Review Boards, specific to the programme/project.
? Leading, coordinating and facilitating change groups to share knowledge and develop change plans and strategies on issues of common concern.
? Writing change management reports, communication plans, training manuals and communicating progress.
? Making presentations to project stakeholders.
In order to keep all affected parties fully informed and aware of issues of common concern, and facilitate the proper implementation of change management, processes and strategies to meet customer requirements.

ADMINISTRATION
Drawing up of reports and correspondence to facilitate the functioning of the Branch, by
? Writing of reports of varying length and complexity to record research and information collection, share information, formulate conclusions and strategies and make reasoned recommendations.
? Drafting letters and reports to give information and resolve queries or problems.
? Responding to enquiries and requests for services from clients.
? Safe keeping of documentation, results of research and investigations, and correspondence.
? To ensure that all the training documentation are developed and delivered according to the standard agreed with the customer.
In order to effect accurate recording of professional work done in the Branch and ensure effective use of the Branch’s services and resources.

Knowledge and Skills
? A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
? Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies (ADKAR, Prosci’s, etc.) and tools.
? Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
? Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
? Forward looking with a holistic approach.
? Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
? Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
? Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
? Experience within large-scale organizational change efforts.
? Driving continuous quality improvement for Change Management and related areas.
? Produce reports and documentation as per the organisation’s standards including key Change management metrics.
? Risk assessment and management in relation to Change and change deployment including the development of cutover and roll back plans.
? Understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
? Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life cycle.

Qualifications or Experience
? 5 years IT change management and communications experience in a software application development environment.
