One of Cape Town’s, Southern Suburbs longest established restaurant, situated along the Indian Ocean coastline seeks an experienced Senior Chef.We require a fully trained Chef, who can handle the control of various food outlets stretching over a vast area and be hands-on in whatever kitchen requires his/her assistance.During the peak summer season, this venue can handle several hundreds of patrons per day and our client requires a very organized and level-headed individual.Our client is only considering candidates with a stable and clean work history and would expect the applicant to either live already in the Southern Suburbs or be prepared to move closer to the area, as working hours are determined by the business needs and include weekends and public holidays. Please note, that we can only consider candidates, who are South African Citizens or hold valid South African Permanent Residence Status! Preference will be given to candidates, who already live in the Cape Town area! Candidates who live in other provinces, need to be able to come for personal interviews to Somerset West and Cape Town, entirely at their own expense!
