Chief Field Service & Projects Officer – JHB South
Permanent, Salary: R800K Max p/Annum

The purpose of this job is to lead the field services and projects installations team to establish and maintain planned and predictable field service offerings, resulting in safe and efficient work execution to achieve customer service, revenue generation and cost management targets.

Minimum Qualifications
• Technical and / or commercial qualification would be an advantage.

• May be required to work outside traditional office hours and travel.

Supporting Activities:
• Ensure achievement of departmental key performance indicators through management of performance appraisals and development discussions with direct reports.
• Identify, champion and support opportunities to improve operational or business process efficiency.
• Coaching, mentoring and on-the-job training to ensure direct reports are sufficiently skilled to fulfil their role and complete their tasks according to business standards.

• Expected Delivery: Empower self and team members to deliver quality work in a responsive and efficient environment.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal service delivery to customers including quality of installation and maintenance, customer on boarding, service contracts and complete generator management solutions.
• Receipt and response to customer complaints or high values customers in accordance to company standards (across all regions).
• Ensure quality of field services and projects activities directly or indirectly impacting customer services and customer awareness and accountability for health and safety risk management.
• Identify and mobilise opportunities for growth of the customer base for maintenance services, service contracts and remote monitoring solutions.
• Regular engagement with internal and external stakeholders to proactively manage Field Services and Projects service delivery and offering in the market.
• Implementation and monitoring sales, service delivery and health and safety principles to ensure efficiency, quality and customer service standards are maintained across all Field Services and project and installations services.
• Maintain constant communication across departments to optimise service delivery, sales, cost and resource management and customer service against overall company goals.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery of Field Services and Projects teams
• Promote and manage Field Services strategies to ensure achievement of targets including maintenance fees, diesel deliveries, sale of service contracts and remote monitoring.
• Identification and implementation of cost management, control and savings initiatives across Field Services and Project activities and resources.
• Management of transport and fleet management costs to support achievement of company goals and strategy.
• Development and management of Field Services departmental budgets and targets aligned to overall company strategy.
