Senior Consultant (Debt Advisory):

Location: - JHB
Salary: R 700 K – R 500 K

Exciting position available for a Senior Consultant (Debt Advisory), for a company that assists with the socio-economic development of South Africa.

To become the ideal candidate you will have to have:
• Post graduate degree in Mathematics, Finance or Economics, preferably a Master’s degree
• Minimum of 5 – 8 years’ experience banking specifically leveraged finance, structured finance, or debt capital markets
• Experience with SOE’s would be advantageous
• Detailed understanding of capital structure and its impact on business activities
• Strong modelling capability in MS Excel. Knowledge of VBA would be advantageous
Some Duties include;
• Leading the structuring and implementation process around bespoke DCM solutions
• Preparing proposals for presentation to clients
• Developing bespoke financial models as a forecasting tool
• Assisting with capital raising from financial institutions
• Reviewing transaction/legal documents e.g. loan agreements, term sheets, confirmations etc
