A leading Logistics company is looking for a Senior Controller to join their team in Centurion. The purpose of the position is to manage and schedule loads and vehicles as efficiently as possible.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• BTECH Transport/BTECH Logistics
• Cold Storage background
• 5 years’ freight experience
• 5 years’ operations planning
• Ability to chair disciplinary hearings
• Customer service experience
• Team Management experience

Duties:

• Manage and plan the daily operations to ensure targets for each day are met
• Route planning
• Manage staffs non-conformance with regards to speeding, absenteeism, overtime and leave
• Organization of timely maintenance of fleet
• Ensure fleet is up to standards 24/7
• Follow up on breakdowns, incidents and accidents
• Report all incidents to Management
• Part take in disciplinary hearings
• Ensure vehicle checks are performed before leaving the premises
• In charge of discipline and motivation of staff
• Manage and coordinate drivers
