Develop enterprise wide credit risk management frameworks accurately and report risk of potential credit losses as well as calculate the capital reserves required to accurately cover that risk

• Ensure that the Risk Management Frameworks are effective in all areas managing the banks Credit risk exposures within the bank.
• Oversee the clearing of credit suspense accounts and records- clear items within 30 days.
• Resolving backlog on Credit reconciliations,[ including AD –hoc Receipts, EDC collections and Housing Loan Collections].
• Independent attestation of Credit Impairment and credit write off data including integrity of Credit data sourced from Quindium /Data warehouse
• Recommend value add credit risk management solutions and techniques with a view to improving sustainability of the organisation and minimising emergence of any unforeseen deterioration in Credit risk quality.
• Monitor the adequacy and efficiency of the credit risk processes and guide the business area’s management where appropriate.
• Ensure that risk issues identified are monitored, reported, escalated to relevant person/s & Committee/s and corrective actions are taken.
• Review of pre and post implementation risk assessments on new credit products and systems within the bank.
• Review the actioning of issues identified in regulatory reports and ensures they are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Independent on-going review of appropriateness of controls implemented with regards to credit risk management processes.

• Relevant Degree/Diploma in Finance and Credit Management is essential.
• 5- 8 years industry/advisory services practices experience is essential.
• 3-5 years risk management and credit risk experience is essential.
• 5 -8 years credit risk modelling experience is essential.
• Understanding of business strategy and objectives is essential.
• Understanding of business processes analyses and dataflow is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
• Communication at all levels is essential.
• Quality conscious is essential.
• Own initiative, make things happen, influence, educate and advice people.
• Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail is essential.
• Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of clients with pace.
