This is a Senior Database Administrator vacancy for an intelligent solutions company. The purpose of the role is to administer the company’s database environment.

Requirements:
• Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification required
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent advantageous.
• Role-related certifications preferred e.g. MCSE, MCSD
• At least 5 years of database administration experience required, including:
• enterprise-wide database architecture strategy development and implementation
• database performance monitoring and tuning
• management of high-availability operational databases
• troubleshooting and fixing incidents
