A trendy style leader is looking for a true connoisseur of clothing to fulfil the position of Senior Designer. The chosen candidate will be responsible for planning & co-ordinating with the design team all atelier functions with regard to the brands product range for the upcoming seasons.
Key Performance Areas
• Product Design & Development
• Trend analysis by providing detailed, accurate & relevant forecasting of future national trends
• Briefing graphic designers on artwork for upcoming styles
• Pre-production liaising with suppliers to illustrate and drive all fit, print, design, colour, fabric & other styling related conversations
• Provide effective merchandising style information to store staff prior to product arrival in stores
Qualifications & Experience
• Design Diploma/Degree with 3-5 years clothing design experience
• Full understanding of design function within the clothing industry including timelines
• Computer/Design app literate with competency in Freehand & Adobe Illustrator
