Leading Group within the Financial Services Sector is seeking a Software Developer to join their team. Bases in Stellenbosch your skills and experience are required to assist with software development at a complex level in accordance with specifications and agreed timescales.

Key areas of focus will include:

Workshop Functional Requirements with the Business Analysts in order to fully understand the business requirements
Workshop Technical Specifications with the Architects in order to fully understand the technical specifications
Software development in accordance with specifications and agreed timescales
Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the smooth transfer of code from development to QA

Essential Competencies:

OO Analysis, Design and Programming Techniques .Net, C# WCF WPF or Silverlight XAML XML Design Patterns - MVC or MVVM UML SQL Server 2008 and higher

Advantageous Competencies:
An understanding of SOA
Understand conversational Afrikaans

Additional Requirements:

Analytical & problem solving skills Deadline driven, able to work in highly pressurised environment Team player Good communication skills

Requirements

Min 5-7 years experience within a similar role
Computer Science or Engineering Degree required
