An international engineering consultancy in Cape Town is offering a professionally registered electrical building services engineer the opportunity to head up their electrical engineering division. You will oversee the electrical division, sign off of projects, liaise with contractors and subcontractors and design the lighting, small power layouts, CCTV, access control, fire detection/intruder detection and BMS systems.

Qualification:
BSc/B.Eng in Electrical Engineering
PR.ENG (essential)

Skills & Experience:
Design experience within building services sector
Audit projects
Ability to communicate at all levels and sign off designs and completed projects
Liaise with the subcontractors and contractors on site, lead site meetings, compiling of tender documentation and control cost and/or budgets
Lighting, power layouts, CCTV, access control, fire detection/intruder detection and BMS systems
Proven track record of projects completed (hotels and data centres will be looked at first)
Project management
Supervising and mentoring Senior, junior engineers and draughtsman
6 – 8 years’ experience
