The ideal candidate can pave his way towards Directorship and could be in line for profit share should he prove himself accordingly. This engineering consultancy is extremely well respected in the industry and boasts repeat business relationships with some of the biggest property developers in South Africa. Typical projects that you will be involved in include hotels, shopping malls, office blocks, hospitals and residential areas.


Qualification:

BEng/BSc: Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering

Pr. Eng (Essential)


Skills & Experience:

Electrical and electronic design of lighting and power layouts, CCTV, access control, fire detection/intruder detection and BMS systems within the building services sector

Project management and auditing of office blocks, hotels, hospitals, shopping malls and residential areas

Signing off designs and completed projects

Business development with new clients

Liaising with the sub-contractors and contractors on site, lead site meetings, compiling of tender documentation and control cost and/or budgets

Presenting proven track records of projects completed

3 – 5 years’ experience in consulting engineering


Job Description:

You will be responsible for electrical and electronic design, mentorship of Junior Electrical Engineers, business development, and project management/auditing.
