3. Job Outputs / Tasks

The incumbent will inter alia be responsible for the following:
Compliance, Governance and Assurance • Execution of controls to ensure governance compliance within
designated area
• Recognize, understand and take action to manage risks that can impact
on outputs of own job and section
• Participate in governance systems for best practice
• Adhere to requirements of quality management systems
• Conduct discipline related assurance reviews of engineering solutions
Consulting and Project Services • Provide expert technical support and direction to project teams and
individual
• Identify needs and support line management with technical issues
• Increase awareness of technology advancements
• Assisting with technical reviews to ensure technical integrity and
quality of work delivered
• Conduct technical evaluations for discipline for projects in various
developmental stages
Effective People Management • Adhere to systems and initiatives to drive performance excellence
• Inspire and lead high-performance teams
• Implement successful change initiatives
• Coordinate optimal utilization and sourcing of appropriate
• Conduct formal and informal mentoring of PIT's
Financial Support Services • Manage cost recovery to be aligned with departmental targets
