Manage export operation by directing and coordinating activities consistent
with established goals, objectives and policies;
Reporting to the Branch Manager;
Responsible for sales budgets;
Will be responsible for regional sales, special projects, dealers and exports;
To set up and sustain a dealer network in countries targeted by the export
sales programme, and in the borders of South Africa;
Set targets and monitor results by dealers based on the territory and
economic situation;
Meet with dealers on a regular basis and assure communication channels
are operating and effective and review sales targets;
Implement procedure by module for incoterms compliance;
Maintain data base and relationships with Freight agents and insurers;
Monitor and control for correctness Tariff Codes as used by administrators,
dealers and freight companies;
Monitor reports on the stability of countries where the company conducts
business;
Take steps as required to conduct business in emerging or declining
markets;
Maintain programme to monitor and react markets with foreign aid
and development;
To be responsible for ensuring the achievement of sales targets and the planned
increase of market share via excellent customer service, appropriate marketing
activities, effective stock management;
To personally maintain good relationships with key customers on an ongoing basis;
To ensure that the service to customers provided by the sales staff is of an
acceptable frequency in terms of call rate and standard;
To communicate regularly with sales staff and accompany them on customer
visits with a view to improve their performance;
To follow-up on all customer complaints promptly and take the appropriate
corrective action where necessary
To obtain the Sales Reports daily/weekly, to monitor actual sales versus
target and take appropriate corrective action where necessary;
To monitor and measure the Sales Consultants performance against budget monthly and
other applicable criteria to institute corrective action promptly in the event of
unacceptable variances
Ability to negotiate and communicate at all levels.
Excellent skills in monitoring, measuring, reporting and taking action
as required.
REQUIREMENTS
An in-depth knowledge of food service equipment and the industry in general would be an advantage
Computer literacy. knowledge of Syspro, MS word, Excel and
PowerPoint would be advantageous.
Experience minimum of 5 years in the same or similar industry.
High organizational skills.
Ability to effectively train sales staff and customers as required
Ability to liaise and negotiate at all levels in a technical, sales and contractual
capacity with customers and suppliers
Skills flexibility and ability to identify and assist in problem solving and make
correct and confident "on the spot" decisions, particularly on site during
building operation.
Be conversant with equipment requirements for the various disciplines and the
installation thereof.
General knowledge of administrative systems and procedures
Willing to travel nationally and abroad if requested to do so.
Confidence in personal ability to perform to set parameters.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Minimum qualification will be Matric or Grade 12 equivalent.
Sales and Exports Training
