SENIOR FARM MANAGER

Our client, a Blueberry grower and exporter located in the picturesque Wolseley area has the above opportunity for an enthusiastic person with good leadership and communication skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure. A relevant qualification, 5 years’ experience in a managerial role are prerequisites. Sound knowledge of farm management practices would count in the applicants favor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management function and responsibilities include: * establishing new orchards * irrigation and fertilizing * disease and pest control * pruning programs * weed control * personnel management * general administration * budget management * maintenance management and all other tasks related to the position.
