Qualification:

Relevant Tertiary education (Cost and Management Accounting/Financial Information Systems National Diploma/Degree)


Skills & Experience:

3 - 4 years related work experience, ideally some gained within a production environment

Advanced Excel Skills

Stock & inventory experience is advantageous

Exposure to improving systems and accounting packages

High level of technical ability in accounting

Strong systems focus

Ability to be proactive and to use initiative

Excellent planning, organising & analytical skills

Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines and to manage setbacks

Ability to work within a team

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail/quality driven

Supervisory/leadership experience


Job Description:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Internal asset & finance system management

Management accounts/Financial reports

Driving maximisation of accounting package

Cash flow forecasting

Costing and analysis

Asset Management

Stock purchasing, processing and reconciliation

Review change & implementation of internal controls & processes

Banking (Preparing foreign & local payments)

Balance sheet reconciliations

CAPEX reporting/forecasting

Supplier liaison

Assisting the Financial Manager with the day-to-day running of the Finance team
