Senior Financial Accountant
Budget Preparation
Audit preparation
Check and post invoices
Raise credit notes after approval
Do and authorize journal entries
Internal controls, maintain and improve
Cash flow management
Pastel maintenance and support, computer data Back-ups (Pastel and all other data)
Review Cashbook and creditors reconciliations
Review Fixed Assets register and recon to General Ledger and review GL reconciliations
Journal entry sequence check
Monthly forex revaluation, Analyse expense, Comment on expenses
Prepare monthly Management Accounts and submit
Debtors and creditors analyses and ageing
Stock holding analysis and stock control
Review and authorise monthly accruals
VAT returns including recon to VAT account in GL
Payroll & Statutory returns
Stock count supervision, Payroll
Liaise with banks regarding finance and related matters
Do/manage other adhoc duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Bachelors in Accounting or Similar (Essential)
Experience in similar position (Essential)
Computer Literacy Pastel (Essential)
Excel, Word, Outlook
Accurate, Deadline driven
Salary R12 000 - neg dep on experience
