We have an exciting job opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a growing entertainment company that has restructured their team and is looking to bring on a new member in their financial planning and analysis group in Cape Town.

Your key job responsibilities as the Senior Financial Analyst in Cape Town will include:

- Analysis of financial revenues, expenses and losses
- Preparation of the annual and quarterly forecasts
- Preparation of the annual and quarterly budgets
- Variance analysis
- Create financial models in Excel for forecasting
- Initiate enhancements and process improvements and ensure that upper management understands the financial costs
- Handle any reporting that is required by management
- Work with multiple business units and departments (Creative, finance, PR, etc.)

Requirements for this Senior Financial Analyst job in Cape Town:

- Must have a Bachelors’ degree in Finance or Accounting
- Must have at least 3-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Must have experience with larger finance and accounting software systems and databases
- Media or entertainment preferred
- Must have Advanced MS Excel (pivot, look-ups, etc.)
