A world-class, academic medical centre that takes health care delivery to heart is currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. This position is responsible for the financial reporting/management of grants, contracts and sundry funds. Perform all grant related post-award functions including, but not limited to, budget and expense analysis, monthly billings, financial reporting, labour distribution changes, preparation of journal entries, reconciliation analysis, and re-budgeting. Meet regularly with principal investigators, Department: heads, and research administrators to resolve accounting problems/concerns. Review and approve all expense transactions to ensure that they are allowable, allocable and applicable per the terms and conditions of the sponsor.

REQUIREMENTS:
B Com Accounting / CA (SA) Knowledge of federal (NIH preferred)
Three to five years of progressive experience in post-award Research Accounting.
