We want a top local South African Senior Human Resource Generalist to join our team at our Cape Town offices (in Diep River, Southern Suburbs).

We’re looking for people with at least 2 years HR experience gained in a Contact-Centre environment and with a completed 3-year HR Degree or Diploma. You’ll have extensive understanding and experience in Labour Relations and implementing IR policies and procedures and extensive knowledge and experience of dealing with the CCMA. You’ll have a good understanding of remuneration and benefits practices, while payroll experience is preferable. You’ll need intermediate to advanced competence in Microsoft Office and we require that you have a clear credit and criminal record.

In addition, the right person for this role will have: strong communication and interpersonal skills – both written and spoken, excellent planning, organisational and multitasking skills, along with a proven track record of consistently meeting deadlines.

Most of all, you’ll naturally be a trustworthy person, especially when dealing with confidential information. You’ll be reliable, with good attention to detail and have strong integrity. You’ll be a team player, while being able to manage yourself effectively under pressure by using your own initiative and judgment.

As a Senior HR Generalist at Sigma SA, you’ll be responsible for the following areas of the HR function: Leading, guiding and supporting the HR generalists with IR, recruitment, payroll and benefits, staff welfare and general HR administration.
