Senior Information and Communication Technology Auditor Vacancy
12 month Contract - R 469 000 p/a

Purpose

• To ensure that technology used is better suited to support business operations by identifying and evaluating the controls that manages the technology environment risks to ensure integrity of the business data, operational efficiency which ultimately ensures operational continuity.

• To conduct pro-active auditing functions in continuous auditing and consulting services

• To add value to the organisation by conducting organisation, divisions and department Impact Assessment (High Level Overview).

• To assist the organisation with identification of inefficiencies in the value chain and provide value add recommendation for improvement purposes.

• To assist Internal Audit Department to perform technology-based audit and other data analysis techniques in all relevant audit assignments

• ICT Audit Execution and Reporting
• Design and use of Computer Assisted Audit Techniques.


Key Requirements:

• B-Comm degree/NQF level 6 in Computer Auditing/ B-Tech in Information Systems
• Studying towards CISA (Advantageous)
• CIA advantageous
• Knowledge of Operating Platforms, and other Technologies e.g. Windows, Unix., Firewalls, Switches
• Should have performed General Control Reviews (GCR), and Application Control Reviews (ACR).
• Solid base in SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle).
• Experience in designing & using CAATs (using ACL, IDEA or another tool).
• Experience in data mining and prediction modelling
• Principles of Project Management
• Plus 5 years ICT auditing
• ICT auditing training
