PBT Group has an opening for a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager.

DUTIES:
- Take ownership of a programme (several related work streams/projects) and
ensure delivery against agreed expectations.
- Develop business case per
project with SMEs, Finance and other key stakeholders.
- Scope and plan
project delivery in detail.
- Produce a Project Initiation Document (PID) and
ensure agreement on deliverables.
- Manage the delivery of the required
products/solutions and mange deviations to plan.
- Manage the project risks,
including the development of contingency plans.
- Take responsibility for
project progress and use of resources and initiate corrective action where
necessary.
- Proactive communication to ensure visibility of project status and
impact to all affected parties using reporting, marketing campaigns, etc.

Prepare project progress reports in preparation for weekly project status
meeting with IT Manager/Programme Manager.
- Ensure buy in / sign off from key
stakeholders at different stage gates.
- Engage with Architecture, Operational
Readiness, Risk and Compliance.
- Liaise with the Customer to assure the
overall direction and integrity of the project.
- Manage project budgets to
ensure that costs are controlled and savings/benefits of the project are kept
intact.
- Rigorously manage all scope changes and impacts and ensure business
case is kept up to date and customer sign offs are obtained.
- Neutrally chair
project meetings and prepare necessary documents, such as minutes.
- Direct
and motivate the project team(s) to ensure successful delivery of scope within
time, cost and quality agreements.

- Previous experience in an IT Infrastructure environment
- 10+ years Project
Management experience
- Experience managing a programme will be very
advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office and Project
- Vendor management and
understanding of contracting
- Adherence to processes and structured work
methods
- Work well under pressure and high tolerance for stress
- Proactive
and self-driven
- Take accountability and ownership for delivery
- Experience
working on IT Infrastructure projects highly advantageous
- Managing a
programme with delivery of multiple simultaneous work streams

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Qualification in project management (Prince 2
Practitioner preferred)
- ITIL V3 qualification advantageous
