A top South African Development House is looking for a skilled Senior iOS Developer to join their growing team in Cape Town.

Required skills and experience:
• A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject would be an advantage.
• You have 3+ years of commercial software development experience of which 2+ years is working in iOS development.
• You have published examples of iOS apps in the app store.
• You pride yourself on your strong OO design and programming skills in Objective-­-C, Swift and are familiar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc.)
• You have a working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• You're experienced working with Source control systems such as mercurial, git and even Subversion.
• More importantly you know when to use which one and for which purposes.
• You also know how to use GitHub and Gerrit.
• You are knowledgeable in technologies such as JSON, HTML and JavaScript will be a great benefit.
• You aspire to join an experienced team where you can participate in solid development practices including testing and documentation and where opportunities exist to learn new languages and technologies.
• You’re comfortable translating functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs.
• You can provide estimates for development effort.
• You can implement proof of concept, prototypes and production-­-grade software.
