Senior IT Audit Portfolio Manager - Sandton

Job Purpose: To provide reliable, value added and independent assurance over the effectiveness of controls mitigating current and evolving high technology risks and in so doing enhance the controls. Responsible for the IT Audit portfolio for the Africa operations and may be required to assist the European operations where appropriate. Minimum Requirement: • Completion of a formal B com (IS) degree or equivalent qualification • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) • Knowledge of TeamMate an advantage • Audited Networks, Databases and Application processes • Experience in project management reviews • Worked with CoBit and ITIL • 10 years extended experience and training in Internal Auditing, Information Systems Auditing, and/or IT environment of which at least 5 Years must be in a Managerial position with specific experience in the Financial Services industry Key result areas and work description: • Strategic Client Management - Development of an IT strategy and functional plans and tactics that are aligned to the group internal audit strategy • Plan, Implement and Monitor Internal Audit Coverage - Development and implementation of a risk based IT Audit plan, with continuous review of the plan to ensure it relevance (changes made to where necessary) and whether the plan is on track to be met • Manage the IT Portfolio - Assignment and allocation of appropriate resourcing, consulting activities and advice provided (where appropriate), management of projects to ensure achievement of the plan and review of work undertaken by the IT audit team to ensure it meets departmental standards • Reporting - Responsible for reporting to the Audit Committee and RISCOS on the results of the outcome of the reviews including the status of audit findings • People management
