Our client a Fast Growing Insurance Organisation is looking for a Highly Competent Equity Individual Senior IT Developer to join their Information Technology Team.

The Ideal candidate should have:
• Matric is essential
• Relevant tertiary Developer qualification (Microsoft .NET) with a programming and database design.
• IT Qualification
• Computer literacy with advanced MS Excel is essential
• Min 3 - 5 years’ experience
• Sound experience on SQL data base environments
• Experience working on TIA environment will be an advantage
• Proven ability in analysing code and trouble-shooting of Application functions
• .ASP, .NET application experience, 3-5 years
• Advanced MS Excel
• Programming
• Oracle and SQL databases

The Senior IT Developer would contribute to the organisational goals by
• Size requested changes
• Make necessary amendments according to standards
• Performance Monitoring, volumes, database integrity & efficiency
• Maintain production files, tables and other required external data
• Maintenance of existing applications
• Data extraction and Data analysis and Data Migration projects
• Data presentation, advanced Excel (produce Dashboards)
• Excellent understanding of database structures and fundamentals
• Prioritize and fix production problems
• Manage Short Term Systems Month-end processing
• Monitor jobs in production
• Provide first-line user support
• Data Security procedures & batch re-run processes
• Assist with Unit / System / Integration / parallel testing

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Basic accounting knowledge – figure orientated
• Excellent experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage relationships effectively
• Ability to participate as a team member and achieve agreed objectives.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive to deliver.
• The ability to cope under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Possess a high level of personal integrity and credibility
• Excellent work standard and ethics
