Well established company is looking for a Senior Engineer with at 5 least years’ experience in a Senior Technical role. You must have helpdesk, onsite knowledge & experience and will be responsible for: Onsite Server and networking support and remote Server support and monitoring

MINIMUM JOB COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior technical role
• Proven knowledge on all Microsoft technologies
• Network, WAN, LAN and Wireless technologies
• Switching and firewall knowledge
• Virtualization technologies
• Server infrastructure
• Experience with open source software advantageous

 
REQUIREMENTS
1) Server Skills

• Microsoft Server,SBS server 2003,2008,2011/server 2008 R2/Server 2012
• Hyper –v platforms (vm replications)
• Vmware platforms
• Windows Server Backup
• Veeam backup replication
• Exchange 2003/2007/2010
• Active Directory, DNS, SQL, VPN.FTP, etc
• Good understanding Dell products, hardware configurations of server (raid config and setups)
• Dell OpenManage

 
2) Networking

• Good WAN understanding and troubleshooting
• LAN (switches, routers, Access points)
• Domain Hosting
• DNS records (mx.A,cname records)
• Project Planning and implementing
• Nas devices

 
3) Beneficial

• Exchange 2013
• Office 365 deployment (One Drive, Lync, Sharedrive)
• Firewalls (SonicWall, Fortigate, Juniper etc.)
• Linux
• N-able backup and remote software
