Job Title: Senior IT Helpdesk Technician
Salary: R15, 000 – R20, 000 (Negotiable on experience)

Description: A well-established Company is looking for a Full time IT Technician to join their professional team

Vacancy Requirements:
• Experience supporting Windows desktop operating systems required.
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of hosting / VM environments.
• Advanced working knowledge one the following equipment – mikrotik routers / cisco routers / quintum routers
• Willingness and ability to take calls after hours and on weekends required.
• Advanced Knowledge of networks and network cabling preferred.
• Advanced Knowledge of Infrastructure technologies, such as Active Directory, LANs, TCPIP, VPN's

Vacancy Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware, operating system, and software related problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic network and server access problems for end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with voice VoIP Services and Solutions
• Resolve tier 1 and tier 2 issues, i.e. reset passwords, how to access network resources like printers, web applications, general issues with PC's, laptops, network connectivity, and peripherals.

Experience:
• At least 4 years of experience providing desktop support in an enterprise environment
