We are looking for someone to fulfil the role of senior IT Technician, the ideal candidate will have 2-3 year experience in supporting:

Microsoft Windows Desktop
Microsoft Windows Server
Microsoft Exchange
Linux - Centos/Redhat
Mikrotik
VOIP - 3CX/MyPBX
Wireless Networking - Ubiquiti/Unifi
Networking
Apple

The successful candidate will be one that is well groomed, presentable and able to communicate well with clients, has the technical ability to solve problems and give the clients the reassurance that their problems are being dealt with. They need to have good people skills as well as technical skills, in that respect some one that has worked in the hospitality/service industries in the past will viewed favourably.

The position is a senior support technician, their daily work will encompass the following:
They will have to be able manage junior staff.
They will provide assistance to junior staff when needed.
They will be required to go to clients and provide support on-site as well as providing support remotely.
They will be responsible for preparing quotes and proposals for new and existing clients.
They will be required to critically appraise new technologies and services for application in house and clients.

All candidates need to fulfil the following criteria, any candidate not fulfilling the following criteria will not be considered:

Valid South Africa Driver's licence
Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English
Understand Afrikaans, being able to speak Afrikaans will be and advantage
Have passed matric
Have some form of tertiary education
