Qualification:

• Tertiary education in Engineering and Computer Science

Skills & Experience:

• 5 years’ experience as a back-end and front-end developer specialising in front-end development
• Interest in GUI and Java
• Knowledge of the SDLC process, tools and techniques specifically as applied to software development methodology
• Use of a UML is a necessity
• Understanding of, JEE (J2EE) server side technologies, GWT GXT2/GXT3
• Experience in web architecture and frameworks
• Spring framework (preferable)
• Experience with an application server (Tomcat, Websphere and Weblogic - preferable)
• Integration experience (Web services, JMS - nice to have)
• JAXB and XML Schema, Maven, SQL and experience with a relational database (DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
