We have identified the need to appoint a Senior Manager within the Logistics Department to lead this diverse and dynamic team, and to take this already efficient and well-oiled department to new heights.

Currently our Logistics Department consists of 23 members. Although Logistics is the last stop in the process we follow, they are responsible for ensuring that ALL packages leave on time and meet the necessary requirements. Quality is one of our cornerstones, something we value and do not compromise on. Finding the balance between quantity and quality is therefore the art to be mastered and maintained in this department.

The Senior Manager will mainly be responsible for maintaining operations and thereby ensuring the success of the different aspects of the department, ranging from suppliers and stock to the dispatching of impeccable packages, and everything in between. This will entail managing, guiding and motivating the team, ensuring maximum output of the department, keeping a balance between quality and quantity of work whilst leading by example and using the basic principles of our mission statement to do so.

The Manager will be required to manage people as well as systems and data, and should therefore have a passion and expertise for both.

This will be a crucial position within the company and therefore we are looking for the perfect candidate…

The ideal candidate should have:

A completed Degree or 3 year Diploma.
At least a C for Mathematics on HG.
3-5 Years management experience. Experience in production or a similar operation will be advantageous.
Be bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
Possess good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

The successful candidate can expect to earn a monthly salary of R65 000 (and will join the company’s pension fund and profit share structure after 6 months).

A six month probation period will apply.
